This Privacy Policy explains how multitoolchest.com (“we”, “us”) at multitoolchest.com handles information when you use our website and tools. We designed our tools so that we need as little of your information as possible.
Files and text you use in the tools
Our tools run in your web browser. Text you type and files you open, such as images, PDF documents and videos, are processed on your device and are not uploaded to or stored on our servers. When you close or reload the page, that data is gone unless you saved a result yourself.
Some tools can remember your recent settings or work, for example a floor plan draft or recent UTM links, using your browser’s local storage. This stays on your device, and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
Exchange rate requests
The currency tools download public exchange rates from third-party rate services (Frankfurter, which publishes European Central Bank reference rates, and ExchangeRate-API’s open access service). Your browser contacts these services directly, which means they receive your IP address and standard browser information, as with any web request. No amounts or personal details you enter are sent to them. The YouTube Thumbnail Downloader loads images from YouTube’s public image server in the same way.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our web server may record standard log information such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited and the date and time of your visit. We use this to keep the site secure and working. If we use analytics or advertising services, they may set cookies and collect similar information under their own privacy policies; where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent first.
Cookies
Our tools do not need cookies to work. WordPress, our hosting provider or optional analytics and advertising services may set cookies, for example to remember your preferences or measure visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Information you send us
If you contact us, we receive the details you choose to share, such as your name, email address and message. We use them only to reply and do not sell them.
Children
Our website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
