Delete PDF Pages
See page previews, tap the pages to remove and save a new PDF.
Remove pages from a PDF visually
Scanned documents often include blank backs of pages, duplicate sheets or cover pages you do not need. The Delete PDF Pages tool shows a small preview of every page so you can see exactly what you are removing. Tap the pages you want to drop, then save a new PDF that contains only the pages you kept.
How to delete pages from a PDF
- Drop a PDF onto the box above or click it to choose one.
- Wait a moment while the page previews appear. Large files render page by page.
- Tap or click each page you want to remove. Marked pages turn faded with a red Delete badge.
- Tap a marked page again if you change your mind, or use Clear selection to start over.
- Click Delete pages and download to save the new file.
Features
- Page thumbnails so you never delete the wrong page by number.
- Live counter showing how many pages will be deleted and how many will remain.
- Touch friendly grid that adapts to phones, tablets and large screens.
- Original quality: the remaining pages are copied unchanged into the new file.
- Your original stays untouched. The tool always creates a new file named with
-edited.
Common reasons to delete PDF pages
Remove blank pages from a double sided scan before sending it. Take out pages with personal details before sharing a report. Trim instruction pages from a form you have filled in. Delete outdated sections from a price list or menu. Shorten a long presentation export to just the slides your audience needs.
Works on any device
On a phone the previews line up in two or three columns that are easy to tap with a thumb. On a tablet or desktop more pages fit on screen at once, so you can scan a long document quickly. The counter above the grid always tells you how many pages the new file will contain before you save it.
Tips
If you only want to keep a few pages from a long document, the Split PDF tool may be faster: type the pages to keep and download them as one file. If a page is sideways rather than unwanted, use Rotate PDF instead of deleting it. You cannot delete every page, because a PDF must contain at least one page.
The previews are drawn by your browser using the same open source engine that powers the PDF viewer in Firefox. Nothing is uploaded, so you can safely edit confidential files.
Frequently asked questions
Will deleting pages change the rest of my document?
No. The pages you keep are copied into a new PDF without changes, so their text, images and quality stay the same.
Can I undo a deletion?
Before saving, tap a marked page again to keep it. After saving, your original file is unchanged on your device, so you can always start again.
Why are some previews slow to appear?
Each page is drawn in your browser one after another. Very long or image heavy PDFs take longer, but you can start marking pages straight away.
